Join us for a weekly meeting:
Mondays, 7-9pm, 916 W. Turner St.
Our mission is to address racial and economic inequities currently occurring in the development of the City of Allentown. We aim to do this by influencing developers and policy makers to ensure that community priorities are met as tax-payer subsidized buildings continue going up in the City. In past cases, some examples of these priorities have been things like fair wages, fair hiring practices, and compliance with environmental regulations.
To achieve this goal, we are developing a deep understanding of the ongoing process of “revitalization,” and negotiating with officials from the City in order to guarantee that all residents of Allentown are benefiting from the development of our city.
